Atlanta Bowler Greg Black Jr. was exceptional on Tuesday, Oct. 14, 2008 at Brunswick Zone in Marietta, GA with outstanding games of 258, 280 and 299 to lead all league players’ scores with a USBC Sanctioned 837 Series.  This was Greg’s 30th 800 Series, and his 6th 800 series of 2008.   Greg also shot his 56th Perfect 300 game at Midtown Bowl in Atlanta, GA on Sunday, October 5th - one step closer to the USBC record book for 300 games. This was Mr. Black’s 8th 300 Game of this year!

Congratulations to The “Triple Threat” Bowling Team of Union City - who was awarded a special plaque September 18th by the USBC for shooting the highest game on record by a Mixed team of three men & one woman – 1,112 on December 10, 2006.   The team consisted of: Hiram Mills (268), James Davis (299), Allison Wilkerson (266), and James Lockett (279)
